The Good Life is a field study of a high-altitude landscape in the Nepal Himalayas, where human activity, terrain, landscape and climate change are tightly interwoven. The project draws on-site documentation - images, video, and spatial observation - to construct a reading of how the environment is structured and used.
Instead of isolating individual elements, the project traces relationships between settlements and terrain, movement and elevation, and daily routines and seasonal change. The resulting maps, visuals, and film form a layered representation of a place that is otherwise difficult to access or fully grasp.
