Robyn Xuening Wang [ˈwæŋ ˈʃuːj ˈnɪŋ] is pursuing a dual master's degree in Landscape Architecture and Design Studies-Ecologies as a Dean’s Merit Scholar at Harvard Graduate School of Design. Her interdisciplinary work explores the intersection of landscape architecture, ecological design, and digital media, focusing on uncovering hidden narratives of land through multimedia storytelling and placemaking.
Robyn investigates the local expression of landscapes and environmental humanities across media and cultural contexts. Her projects span reviving neglected historical and ecological resources, mountain landscapes, curatorial studies, and interactive scene building. Her work has been supported by Harvard Asia Center, Lakshmi Mittal and Family South Asia Institute, and Harvard i-Lab.
With a bachelor’s degree in Engineering focusing on Environmental Design, Robyn brings contextual sensitivity to her work. She explores how design approaches, whether environmental or digital, can address social and ecological concerns.
